" Thundercats follows the adventures of the eponymous team of heroes, cat-like humanoid aliens from the planet THUNDERA. As the dying Thundera meet its end, forcing the ThunderCats to flee their world. The fleet is attacked by the Thunderans enemies, the Mutants of Plun - Darr, who destroy all crafts save the flagship containing the young Lord of the Thundercats, Lion-O, his protector and the mystical Eye of Thundera, the source of Thundera's power, embedded in the hilt of the legendary Sword of Omens. Although the Mutants damage the flagship, they are driven back by the power of the Eye, and Lion O's elderly guardian, Jaga, pilots of the ship to the safety of the world of "Third Earth", but perishes in the process.
When the ThunderCats awake from their suspender animation on Third Earth, Lion-O discovers that his suspensiopn capsule has failed to inhibit his aging, and he is now a child in the body of a man. Together, the ThunderCats and the friendly natives of the Third Earth construct the "Cat's Lair" their new home and headquarters, but before long, the Mutants track them down to Third Earth. The intrusion of these two alien races upon the world does not go unnotices, however - the demonic, mummified sorcerer, Mumm-Ra, recruits the Mutants to aid him in his campaign to acquire the Eye of Thundera and destroy the ThunderCats so that his evil might continue to hold sway over Third Earth"
The character
- Lion - O: The leader, wield the legendary Sword of Omens, able to fire bolts of energy and allow Lion-O to see across great distances with its power of "Sight Beyond Sight", and the Claw Shield, a gauntlet that launches grappling lines from its claw.
- Jaga: known as "Jaga the Wise", this elder warrior was once regarded as the greatest of all ThunderCats. An adviser and protector of the Lord's family, it was Jaga who gathered the nobles of the ThunderCats to escort Lion-O and the Eye of Thundera to safety, but in his aged condition, he did not survive the trip to Third Earth. However, he did reappear on Third Earth as a spirit.
-Tygra: A staunch, level-headed warrior, known as the ThunderCats architect and scientist. He is the one Lion-O often turns to as second-in-command and for counsel.
- Panthro: The next noble and also the eldest (after Jaga), this warrior is the chief mechanic/engineer and pilot for the ThunderCats. He's also physically the strongest and is a cunning warrior in combat.
-Cheetara: A female warrior, who is the only adult female ThunderCat. She is as lovely as she is brave and caring. Often a voice of reason, she is also the bearer of a budding 'Sixth Sense', detecting when something is unsafe or if evil is near. She has incredible speed, her weapon of choice is a staff that can grow or shrink to variable lengths, with which she can vault or leap over enemies. It is attached to the armband on her left band when it is not used.
- WilyKat and WilyKit: Twin siblings (Kat the boy and Kit the girl) who are the youngest members. They are the mischief makers, and often have their own lessons to learn alongside Lion-O.
and dun forget about this lil fella...Snarf...ehehehe..a race of intelligent cat-like creatures, Snarf are PLUMP, FUZZY AND KIND. Native of Thundera, living in the Valley of Snarfs, happily working as cooks, nursemaids, squires and so forth.
The only creatures in the universe incapable of evil (except while possessed). Snarf are known to end their sentences with the squeking exclamation for which they are named - "Snarf, Snarf!"
eheheh... this cartoon really brings lots of memories to me....especially the memory of a broken nose! eheheh...camane ley jadi? time tuh kat kg..kat muar...n mase tuh, each of the door, atOk (my grandma) buh cam palang kayu...x kasi bebudak manjat la konon...tp anak pakcik amran yg sorang nih, mmg NAKAL...so, x jalan la kayu tuh kan...so, ptg tuh...denGar la intro katun nih...dr depan umah, sya lari..beriya nih lari..2 3 pintu yang memula tuh sya lompat ngan jayanya...bile turn nak lompat pintu nak g kat tv tuh...X LEPAS!!kaki tersadung kat palang kayu tuh...n i passed out...bangun - bangun...thundercats dah abis...uwaa!!idung dah berdarah - darah...my mom x yah cite la...duk bebel²..mase tuh nangis..rasenya nangis tuh bukan sebab sedih idung darah..tapi sbb miss katun..ahahahhaha.. :P
oo ya...sebelum terlupa..2010 nanti diaorg akan launch ThunderCats the movie...wuuhuuu!!! can't wait..eheheh
